Hacklab Kuopio ry

Hacklab Kuopio can be found at Kaivotie 38, 70700 (Särkiniemi) Kuopio.

It has an area of about 120 square meters, and is located on the second floor of the Savon Diesel building. Enter through the door on Kulkutie side.

Below is an introduction to the different areas of the lab!

🖨️ 3D printing

We have five 3D printers in use, including Prusa machines.

The devices can print both handy parts of these and larger projects.

A corner for art, painting, crafts and all small (and large) creative uses.

Brushes and craft supplies are available, and you can also bring your own materials.

Programming, an area suitable for CAD design and laptop work.

Here you can work on your own small scripts as well as longer joint projects, for example the lab's LCR project.

A workstation equipped for small-scale electronics work:

There is basic equipment for light metal work and machining:

battery-powered jigsaws

hand saws

screwdrivers

vices

hot air gun

all kinds of small space gadgets

There is no feedback on various woodworking, but good woodworking can still be done with hand tools.

Here you can just be, chat, do joint projects or watch a movie on the big screen

Game consoles include PS3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360.

You can make and eat your own snacks in the kitchen. Refreshments are available from the “café” for a small fee.
